  5. Dear Customer,
  6. the installation of this game is very easy. Simply follow the
  7. prompts and requests of the installation program.
  8.  
  9. Play videos:
  10. if you only see a black screen while the intro is playing,
  11. please start the included program "iv5play.exe" inside the
  12. "video"-directory. This will install a so-called "codec", 
  13. responsible for certain video compression routines.
  14. Most often this codec will already be installed on standard
  15. systems. If not, please use this utility.
  16.  
  17. DirectX:
  18. Please make sure that DirectX 8.1 is installed on your system.
  19. If DirectX is not installed at all yet, or just another version 
  20. prior to 8.1, please use the installer inside the "DirectX"
  21. folder on your CD.

  23. Hint: the latest versions of DirectX can be found on cover-CDs
  24. of popular magazines or on www.microsoft.com
